One day, three events. Start your day with the Snake River Apple Squeeze, then catch a matinee play of Dracula at the Historic Opera Theater. Then stay for the Ghost Tour: join your guide for a walk through town, where haunted buildings, restless spirits, local legends, and a few stories best told after dark are waiting around every corner. Sign up for the Ghost Tour and choose from three tour times—because even ghosts have to work in shifts.

Welcome to the Glenns Ferry Chamber of Commerce!

I am honored and excited to step into the role of President of the Glenns Ferry Chamber of Commerce. As someone who was born and raised in Glenns Ferry, this community means so much to me, and I am deeply passionate about supporting our local businesses, economic growth, and the unique character of our town. We have an exciting year ahead with a lot planned — including community activities, business promotion, a new Chamber website, and increased collaboration across our business community. I’m incredibly optimistic about what we can accomplish together.
I’m truly excited to work with the chamber board and our chamber members as we continue to strengthen Glenns Ferry’s business environment and community connections. Thank you for your continued support — we’re looking forward to a great year ahead!

As you serve, please document your efforts with notes and photos and email them to us. We will then add them on our website, here. Your contributions will be recognized locally and counted toward Idaho’s statewide goal of 250,000 acts of service.

Together, we can showcase the heart of Glenns Ferry and make a lasting impact.

Business of the Month for September
Ricketts Insurance Services

Picture

The Glenns Ferry Chamber of Commerce is excited to recognize Six Creeks Mercantile as September's Business of the month! Six Creeks Mercantile opened in Glenns Ferry in 2023, but its roots began several years earlier when owner Colleen Teevin married into King’s Crown Organic Farm. After moving to the area and becoming more familiar with issues pertaining to the national food system, the idea of connecting people more directly with good, locally produced food gradually grew into something bigger.

Today, Six Creeks is part market, part café, part apothecary and part old-fashioned mercantile. The shop offers organic produce and meat, local eggs and dairy, medicinal herbs and bulk spices, along with espresso, homemade ice cream, baked goods, soups and sandwiches, gifts and other useful and fun finds. Much of what is sold in the store is grown or raised on the family farm or comes from other local and regional producers. Perhaps Colleen’s favorite part of Six Creeks are the monthly classes where the community is invited to learn about everything from making soap to butchering game.

Running a business with so many moving parts in a town the size of Glenns Ferry has certainly brought challenges, but it has also allowed Six Creeks to grow organically in response to the people it serves. It is here to be of service to Glenns Ferry through serving food, creating community and fostering educational opportunities. Please help us celebrate Six Creeks Mercantile as October's Featured Business of the Month!
